Yerevan/Mediamax/. The Facebook page of former Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan underwent some changes.

The “wall” of Karen Karapetyan’s page is close for placing comments by users and only the former Mayor can make comments, Mediamax reports.

Karen Karapetyan’s page has over 21 thousand readers.

When holding the post of Yerevan Mayor, Karen Karapetyan’s Facebook page was one of the most popular in Armenia.

“I want to stress that my team and I have given numerous tools to the public for it to control us. There is no issue that we would like to conceal. There are various means for communication with the society - feedback, social networks and direct communication with people. Today we have a situation, where as soon as they start digging a hole in any part of the city, the information about it immediately appears on Facebook”, said Karen Karapetyan in his interview to Mediamax in May 2011.
