Yerevan/Mediamax/. Investments in the amount of AMD 10bln are needed to provide the proper material and technical base for the sanitary purification and garbage disposal in Yerevan.
Mediamax reports that during the session of the Yerevan Council of Elders, the head of the Development and Investment Programs Department of Yerevan Municipality, Eduard Nersisyan, said that two international specialized garbage disposal operators will be chosen on a competitive basis and long-term agreements will be concluded with them.
Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan said that 6 international companies are ready to take part in the tender.
