Yerevan /Mediamax/. This year, British Film Festival will be held in Yerevan from February 22 to March 5.
Director of British Council Armenia Arevik Saribekyan said today that the 12th festival will be opened by “Summer in February” movie. It will be screened in Moscow cinema at 16:00 on February 22.
Festival’s general sponsor ArmenTel CEO Andrey Pyatakhin said that the festival is aimed at realizing the idea which is reflected in their “Improve People’s Life Here and Now” motto.
“The festival raises issues related to the people with limited abilities and their integration into the society”, he said.
The movies featured in the festival will be shown not only in Moscow cinema, but also in Nairi and Cinema Star. The entrance will be free.
Besides the movies, master classes and competitions will also be held within the festival. In particular, the participants of the competitions will have to shoot a minute-long movie and present pictures on inclusive and communication issues.
The festival movies will be shown in the regions, particularly in Goris, Gyumri and Gavar, starting from March 5.
