Armenia exempts some arrivals from self-isolation

Yerevan /Mediamax/. On July 27 Deputy Prime Minister, Commandant of Armenia Tigran Avinyan signed the decision exempting certain individuals arriving to Armenia from mandatory self-isolation.

 

“The following individuals are exempt from self-isolating:

 

1. Those arriving as part of foreign delegations for state, official, and business trips;

2. Members of diplomatic and consulate representative offices and their families;

3. Those invited for urgent healthcare, military & security and economic purposes;

4. Those arriving to conduct works or provide services in the framework of infrastructure projects implemented by the state;

5. Individuals with other exceptional circumstances, at the permission of the Commandant.

 

In the mentioned cases the individuals arriving to the Republic of Armenia have the right to take a paid PCR test for COVID-19 within 24 hours after the arrival,” reads the decision.

 

The decision also notes that the data about the mentioned individuals will be registered in ARMED platform with a special note after the arrival to Armenia and in case of a negative result to the COVID-19 test they will be immediately exempted from self-isolation.

 

Until ARMED receives the negative result of the test from the laboratory, the given individual will be instructed to self-isolate.
