Yerevan/Mediamax/. A group of young people who call themselves “ “Vladimir Putin” People’s Youth Movement” made a parody on the official opening of “Putin” club at “Cluboratoria” academic club today.
After the start of the initiative marked with the rising glasses filled with “Putinka” vodka the, authors of the initiative promised that everything will be all ok, chanting together “He leads us on the light path, he gives us hope, let’s drink for Putin – go!”.
“We don’t have much funding as other movements. Unlike them, we are a more spontaneous and independent club, but we give a helping hand to other pseudo-clubs”, said Narek Margaryan, one of the co-presidents of the club.
Going on answering the questions of the journalists, Narek Margaryan said that ''we understand other clubs which try to open a day before us imitating our programs but we will become a regional leader of Putin's glorification''.
Speaking about the further plans of the club, the authors of the initiative promised to hold months or even years of Putin's glorification.
After the ''conference'' finished, the co-president of the club Edgar Barseghyan noted that by this step, they want to stress that such clubs should be responsible for their own steps towards the state and society.
''It was by far the most obvious way to express what we would like to say by this step'', concluded Narek Margaryan.
Mediamax notes that the initiative of establishing a chain of ''Putin'' clubs in Armenia was put forth by the Chairman of the Board of ''Youth Union of the CIS Countries'' NGO Andranik Nikoghosyan.
A day before, when it was already known about the parody to be made, Andranik Nikoghosyan made a statement:
'' I am deeply indignant with the information infiltrated into the Armenian media according to which ''Putin'' club is to open in Yerevan on January 31. Alas, envy and unfair competition made a cluster of odd people and organizations try to take over the ''Youth Center of the CIS's'' idea of establishing the club. The real ''Putin'' club will open on February 2 in the House of Russian Book and will full devote itself to the dissemination of the ideas and programs of Vladimir Vladimirovich''.
Shortly afterwards, the Chairman of ''East-West'' Russian Society of International Friendship Rasim Dandarov stated ''incorrect profanation of the name of the presidential candidate of Russia, V.V. Putin, to cause intrigues on Armenia's territory''.
''We think establishing clubs after Putin without sanctions of Putin's electoral headquarters ''a black PR'' which is within the interests of some Western circles'', stated Dandarov.
