Yerevan /Mediamax/. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian has signed decrees granting higher ranks to four diplomats on the occasion of the Diplomat’s Day, celebrated in Armenia on March 2.
The rank of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary has been granted to Ambassador of Armenia to Lebanon Vahagn Atabekyan.
The rank of envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary has been granted to Advisor in Middle East and Africa department of Armenian Foreign Ministry Yuri Babakhanyan, Advisor to Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahe Gevorgyan, and Ambassador of Armenia to Canada Anahit Harutyunyan.
