Yerevan/Mediamax/. The National Archive of Georgia handed over to the National Archive of Armenia about 700 archive documents about the Armenians displaced from Nagorno Karabakh in late 18th and early 19th centuries.
Director of the National Archive of Armenia Amatuni Virabyan said today that a part of the Armenian population settled in Georgia due to the ethnic displacement, Mediamax reports.
Amatuni Virabyan noted that the National Archives of the two countries concluded a cooperation agreement after long negotiations.
