Yerevan/Mediamax/. The ceremony of launching free Wi-Fi connection at a speed of 10 mbps in Yerevan Zoo took place today.
VivaCell MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian said that this is a progressive step for Yerevan Zoo.
“This step will raise the client service level. There are only a few parks where anybody can connect to broadband Internet”, said Ralph Yirikian.
“An interactive map will start operating when the whole territory of the Zoo is provided with Internet. By means of the map the client will not only orientate himself on the Zoo’s territory but also get interesting information about the Zoo and animals”, said Director of Yerevan Zoo Ruben Khachatryan.
He informed that a web camera has been placed in the white peacock’s cage which will allow those attending to animals to watch them constantly.
