Yerevan /Mediamax/. Tashir Group press service has today disseminated Samvel Karapetyan’s statement on purchasing the Electric Networks of Armenia.
Samvel Karapetyan particularly stated;
“Dear compatriots!
As we have already announced, Tashir Group and Inter RAO signed a contract on sales and purchase of the electric assets in Armenia on September 30, 2015.
The sides agreed that Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC (ENA) will continue to fully perform their obligations. Tashir Group also undertook the duties of ENA management. The management of the company will be transparent and understandable to the public, based on the key component of corporate social responsibility.
The ENA development priorities include implementation of an anti-crisis program, optimization of financial operation of the company, improvement of the quality of the services, controlling of financial –economic operations including introduction of appropriate new technologies.
Firstly, we plan to modernize the infrastructure of distribution of networks through effective investments. We will conduct a thorough and uncompromised struggle against vicious practices of corrupt employees and unconscientious consumers. We will reduce the costs of the company by concentrating internal resources, including reduction of energy loss that will allow the Company to avoid increase in electricity tariffs at ENA in future.
Undoubtedly, the interests of three million people are important for us. They cannot compare to the profit or interests of some corrupt employees and negligent consumers.
To support the people, it was decided to reimburse the difference between the increased and former tariff in force up to August 1, 2015, at my personal expenses in par with the Armenian government, for individuals and small business.
We are ready for new approaches, new quality of work, to fair and constructive partner relations”.
