Yerevan /Mediamax/. Minister of Transport of Russia Maxim Sokolov said that the audit of the operation of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA), a subsidiary of Inter RAO UES Company, will be conducted under the auspices of the Russian-Armenian intergovernmental committee.
Maxim Sokolov stated it at the meeting with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan in Yerevan responding to the latter's suggestion to carry out an audit, the Armenian presidential press service reports.
Serzh Sargsyan offered to conduct a detailed audit of the ENA's operation with the participation of experts and civil society representatives.
Maxim Sokolov said that experts and representatives of all stakeholders would be involved in the audit, which will be carried out in a most open and transparent way for everyone to comprehend the situation and have a clear idea of it.
Touching upon the ENA's operation Maxim Sokolov said that the meeting of the intergovernmental committee was followed by a detailed discussion of all issues related to the company's activities in the previous period. The discussion was held at the Armenian government with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Energy and the Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC).
According to him, most importantly, there is a clear plan with certain measures, an implementation schedule and relevant means aimed at bringing this enterprise out of crisis.
