Yerevan/Mediamax/. The Armenian Genocide Centennial Commemorative Directorate published the special route for those who want to take part in the Canonization Ceremony of the Genocide martyrs at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on April 23.

On April 23, at 17:00, free buses will take the passengers from the Brazil Square in Yerevan to the Cathedral in Echmiadzin and upon the end of the event will take participants back to Yerevan.

“It is not recommended to use personal transport. All those who will decide to go to Echmiadzin on their own vehicles should park the cars at the crossroad of the highway heading from Etchmiadzin to Armavir. From this place buses will take the participants to Holy Etchmiadzin.

For security reasons within the territory of Holy Echmiadzin, as well as other places of public events it is prohibited to have the following items: chemical, explosive and flammable substances; ammunition, any kind of weapons and bullets; large objects, including utility and other large bags, bags, backpacks, etc.”, the press release reads.

An inspection and screening of personal belongings will be conducted during the event at the Mother See.
