Yerevan/Mediamax/. During the visit to the region this week, OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs and OSCE Chairman-in-Office again urged Azerbaijan to withdraw snipers from the contact line.

Meanwhile, as the information of Trend evidences, Azerbaijan has decided to train snipers from school age.

Chairman of the Board of Voluntary Military-Patriotic Sports-Technical Society of Azerbaijan Major General Novruzali Orujev stated that “the most advanced armaments are purchased in order to carry out the initial military training in Azerbaijan”.

“There is great interest towards sniper courses. Parents want their children to participate in them”, Azerbaijani General said.

According to Orujev, Dragunov sniper rifle (DSR) will be mainly used in the sniper courses. “Along with DSR, the teenagers will be trained to deal with “Istiglal” rifle of Azerbaijani production”, he stated.
