Yerevan/Mediamax/. The Gallup Organization and Armenian Sociological Association are conducting exit polls in 122 election districts across whole Armenia today.

President of Armenian Sociological Association Gevorg Poghosyan told Mediamax today that there were issues in some election districts in Gyumri, Masis and Yerevan when the interviewers were interfered while doing their jobs.

"We managed to settle the issue within law and the interviewers currently continue their normal work", said Gevorg Poghosyan.

About 300 employees of the Association - interviewers, experts and controllers - are working about 10 km away from the election districts.

According to the methodology, the interviewers suggest filling out the questionnaire each 7th voter coming out of the polling station. Then, the information is sent to the Center through phones and tablets.

"The questionnaire comprises 4 questions - gender, age, when did the voter make his decision and whom did he vote for. Voters themselves fill out the questionnaire and cast it into the box", Gevorg Poghosyan told Mediamax

Gevorg Poghosyan informed that 25-30% of the polled voters refused to fill out the questionnaire till now.

The President of the Association noted that they were going to poll overall 13 000 citizens. Exit poll will be finished about 30minutes after the elections are over: the results will be announced at 20:00 on ArmNews TV channel.
