In 1997-1999, Karine Ghazinyan was Armenia's charge d'affaires in Romania, in 1999-2001 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Romania.

In 2001-2009, Karine Ghazinyan held the post of Armenia's Ambassador to Germany.

In 2009-2011, she was the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia and Chief Negotiator of Armenia-EU Association Agreement.

Karine Ghazinyan was appointed Armenia's Ambassador to the UK in September 2011.
