Yerevan/Mediamax/. Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergey Martinov stated today that Armenia and Belarus “try to stretch out of common trade and seek options for joint production across Armenia”.
Sergey Martinov stated this at a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan in Yerevan today, Mediamax reports.
“We are aware of the programs implemented by the Armenian government in agricultural sector that’s why we start works on using leasing schemes of agricultural and other equipment while supplying to Armenia”, said the Foreign Minister of Belarus.
According to him, Armenia and Belarus reached a brand new level of cooperation in the IT sector. “The Belarus High Tech Park has a relevant agreement with the Gyumri Technopark”, noted Martinov.
Speaking about the joint projects, the Foreign Minister of Belarus said that it’s planned to produce Armenian brandy in Belarus in the nearest future. Besides, the Belarusian side is ready to open an assembly production of agricultural tractors and it also considers the proposal of joint manufacturing of dry-type transformers in Armenia.
