Yerevan/Mediamax/. Head of the People’s Party of Armenia (PPA), Stepan Demirchyan, said today that the holding of extraordinary elections is a “matter of principle”.
Stepan Demirchyan said that “elections should be extraordinary, as the society believes that regular elections will be falsified again,” Mediamax reports.
“It’s impossible to falsify elections and speak of the formation of a new political culture. The civilized dialogue starts from civilized elections: discussion over some issues is not a dialogue,” PPA leader stated.
According to him, the opposition will accept the results of regular or extraordinary elections if they are conducted “normally”.
