Yerevan /Mediamax/. In 2021, 1,463 babies were born in the medical institutions of the Artsakh Republic – 734 boys and 729 girls.
Artsakh Ministry of Health reports that 1,337 babies were born in Stepanakert – 660 boys and 677 girls.
During the year 22 births of twins were registered in Artsakh.
78 Artsakh babies were born in medical institutions of Armenia. Thus, the total birth rate in Artsakh in 2021 was 1,541 babies, of who 779 boys and 762 girls.
