Yerevan /Mediamax/. Azerbaijan has resumed the attack in the northern sector of the frontline this morning, in violation of the humanitarian ceasefire.

Representative of Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan has stated that Azerbaijan has launched the large-scale attack after intense, hour-long shelling.

“The adversary has tried to advance several times, aiming to take our positions. Thanks to the courage and professionalism of Armenian soldiers, Azerbaijani forces were thrown back, suffering significant losses,” he said.

The situation was relatively tense but calm overnight. In some sectors of the Artsakh-Azerbaijan frontline, artillery fights continues with varying intensity.
