Yerevan /Mediamax/. Representative of the Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan stated today that early in the morning the enemy launched a large-scale offensive along the entire line of contact.
“Especially fierce battles took place in the northern direction. Following a large-scale shelling, the enemy launched an attack with armored vehicles.
One of the fiercest battles of this war took place today in the north, during which our forces pushed back the enemy, causing significant losses. The army, the reservists and the volunteers fought heroic battles together,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan said.
He noted that the enemy has failed to advance in other directions either.
“Over 14-15 days, 3-4 army corps of the enemy have failed to solve the tasks intended for one regiment,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan concluded.
