Yerevan /Mediamax/. Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a statement on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
The statement posted on Kremlin’s website particularly reads:
“After a series of phone talks with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the Russian President urges both sides to stop hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone for humanitarian purposes to allow exchange of bodies of killed and PoWs.
Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia are invited to Moscow on October 9 to conduct consultations on these issued with the mediation of the Russian Foreign Minister.”
