“Fire” was a fancy show - real fire was the response

This music video of the song “Fire” was posted on the official YouTube channel of the State Border Guard Service of Azerbaijan on September 27, the day Azerbaijan launched large-scale aggression against Artsakh.

The video, by the way, gained just 7,000 views in a week.

The video displays almost the entire arsenal of Azerbaijan: air force, UAVs, armored vehicles and more. Perhaps, the State Border Guard Service suspected that most of that equipment would be destroyed soon by the Artsakh armed forces and decided to preserve at least the memories.

The song is performed by Ceyhun Zeynalov and Narmin Karimbayova with Nur band.

The name of the song (Atəş – “fire”) seems to repeat Azerbaijan’s slogan – “Azerbaijan Land of Fire”.

Now the Artsakh Armed Forces are actively keeping Azerbaijan in the framework of that theme.

The musicians perform the song “Atəş” in military uniform and the song is regularly accompanied by the sound of missile launches, although it is unclear where the shooting takes place as the video depicts mostly open fields, without a visible enemy.

Narmin Karimbayova is famous from the Voice of Azerbaijan TV show. She addressed the Azerbaijani soldiers on her Instagram page this week and declared herself one of the symbols of the “victory” due to the new song. Her behind-the-scenes photos from the video show that the shooting took place in Yevlakh.

In one of the shots, soldiers are waving a flag near a road sign that reads “110 kilometers to Shushi”.

While Azerbaijan continues to “enjoy” the real fire, we suggest listening to and watching this version of the song “Wake up Lao” presented by the Adana Project band today, with real shots of Artsakh soldiers’ participation in the wars.
