Yerevan /Mediamax/. Russian President’s Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has said today that the Kremlin disapproves of Turkey’s statements about political support for Azerbaijan in regard to the situation in Artsakh.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has said today:
“Whatever assistance Azerbaijan needs, we are ready to provide it. We have said we stand with Azerbaijan both at the negotiating table and on the battlefield. These are not empty words.”
“Of course, we do not support such statements, we disagree with them,” said Peskov, recalling his yesterday remark that “there is no need to add fuel to the flame.”
TASS reports that according to Dmitry Peskov, “Russian military closely follows the developments in Nagorno-Karabakh.”
