No news in NK peace talks, says Pashinyan

Yerevan/Mediamax/. According to acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, "there are no news in Karabakh peace talks, and whatever activity there is, it is visible to the public”.

“You could say the level of activity we have today is slightly above the lowest indicator of the last 25 years,” Pashinyan told the press today.

Touching on Azerbaijani Foreign Minister’s statement that he has reached mutual understanding with the Armenian side, the head of the government said:

“I haven’t participated in the official negotiations so far, I simply spoke twice with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.”

“Whenever Azerbaijan makes a statement that contains an element of positivity, I am surprised at certain Armenian commentators, who suspect a conspiracy right away. Why don’t they assume that the Armenian government managed to bring forward convincing arguments?” added Pashinyan.
