Yerevan /Mediamax/.Azerbaijani side was given 13 bodies of casualties on April 10 when exchange of bodies was carried out near the village of Bash Karvend.
Armenian Defense Army Spokesman Senor Hasratyan told this to Mediamax noting, that “there were 13 bodies in our area but there are more than a dozen bodies very near the frontline”.
“Azerbaijanis will collect the bodies of the casualties themselves from that area, with Armenian side’s agreement and the presence of observers.
The Azerbaijani side continues to collect the bodies of casualties, and therefore we cannot give information on how many bodies the rival collected from the area of the frontline”, said Senor Hasratyan.
The Armenian side brought back 2 bodies of casualties and gave 7 to the rival on April 9.
The search operations for bodies of soldiers killed in northern and southern directions of the contact line was launched on April 8 with mediation of Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of OSCE Minsk Group. At the moment, only one Defense Army soldier 's fate remains unknown.
