Yerevan/Mediamax/. Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania is dismissed from the post of the First Vice Prime Minister of the government.
The relevant order of Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili was placed on the official site of the Georgian government, Trend reports.
The order doesn't mention the reasons why Alasania was dismissed from the post of the First Vice Prime Minister.
According to some data, the decision resulted from the discords between Alasania and Ivanishvili on future powers of the President as the current Defense Minister was going to run for presidency in October 2013.
Alasania himself has already told journalists that he had "an unpleasant conversation" with the PM on this issue.
