Yerevan /Mediamax/. Defense Ministers of Armenia and Russia Vagharshak Harutyunyan and Sergei Shoigu have discussed over the phone the current situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, the return of POWs and captives, and the search for the missing.
Harutyunyan and Shoigu have also exchanged opinions regarding the latest military and political developments in the region, said the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry.
“Defense Minister Harutyunyan has thanked his Russian counterpart for significant support in resolution of security issues in Syunik through deployment of Russian border guard troops,” the ministry said.
