Yerevan /Mediamax/. Bilateral framework agreement on military cooperation will be signed within the framework of the visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to Turkey on October 15-15.
The draft framework agreement was approved by the government of Ukraine on October 14.
Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Taran stated that the agreement will create a legal basis for expanding and deepening the existing Ukrainian-Turkish cooperation in the sphere of defense and launching cooperation in more than 20 fundamentally new areas.
Andriy Taran noted that the Ukrainian national security strategy recently approved by Zelensky defines Turkey as one of the countries with which Ukraine will develop a strategic partnership to protect interests and strengthen regional security.
