Yerevan/Mediamax/. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has stated that "the reunification of Germany opened a new page in the history of global politics and international relations”.
“Today Germany is one of the best examples of a country built on development, democracy, protection of human rights and the rule of law.
The Republic of Armenia attaches great importance to consistent development and strengthening of relations with the Federal Republic of Germany in bilateral and multilateral format,” Pashinyan said in the letter he addressed to Chancellor Angela Merkel on the occasion of German Unity Day.
“Armenia is on the path of reforms, which is full of challenges, and we greatly appreciate the support of our partners in tackling them. In this regard Germany is a reliable partner for Armenia, a firm supporter of democratic reforms and expansion of Armenia-EU cooperation,” added Nikol Pashinyan.
