Yerevan /Mediamax/. Andrea Wiktorin might take the place of Piotr Switalski as Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia.
The German diplomat’s candidacy was proposed by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.
Andrea Wiktorin currently serves as EU Ambassador to Belarus (since 2015).
She was born on 13 December 1957 and has worked in the Federal Foreign Office of Germany since 1989.
Wiktorin served as Ambassador of Germany to Armenia in 2007-2009 and to Latvia in 2012-2015.
