Yerevan/Mediamax/. Cyprus, Armenia and Greece have agreed to create parliamentary cooperation platform in the scope of the trilateral partnership between the countries.
President of the Armenian National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan and President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus Demetris Syllouris have announced their readiness to form the platform.
During the meeting in Cyprus, Mirzoyan and Syllouris underlined the importance of the committees on the trilateral partnership, operating in Armenian and Cypriot parliaments, and cooperation in different parliamentary conventions regarding the favorable resolution of the issues that are considered sensitive by the parties.
Demetris Syllouris noted that he would launch an active discussion on creation of the trilateral inter-parliamentary platform.
He also reiterated Cyprus’ support for Armenia in key issues.
