Yerevan /Mediamax/. The European Court of Human Rights will be delivering the judgment in the case of Perincek v. Switzerland on October 15.
Since August 2014, Armenia has been involved as a third party in the case, and barrister Amal Clooney was supporting Armenia’s interests at the ECHR.
In March 2007, Turkish nationalist Dogu Perincek was the first to be found guilty of Armenian Genocide denial in Switzerland. He used to describe Armenian Genocide an “international lie” and the Switzerland-Armenia Association filed a criminal complaint against him accusing of racial discrimination.
Turkey is also a third party in the case.
