Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov, James Warlick, Pierre Andre and Personal Representative of OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk in Basel.
The Minister called the Co-Chairs’ attention to the situation of the recent weeks resulted from Azerbaijan’s strongly exacerbated military rhetoric and statements distorting the essence and content of the talks, gross ceasefire violations entailing casualties and particularly downing of the helicopter of Artsakh Defense Army carrying out a training flight.
Edward Nalbandian confirmed that Armenia together with Co-Chairs continues making efforts toward exclusively peaceful settlement of the NK conflict, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reports.
Today and tomorrow, the OSCE member states’ Foreign Ministers are due to meet in Basel.
