Yerevan /Mediamax/. Defense Minister of Armenia Davit Torosyan has today introduced newly appointed Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan to the command staff of Defense Ministry and the army.
“Highlighting the military career of Onik Gasparyan and his service at all levels of the command chain, the Minister of Defense has stated he is certain that the distinguished General will spare no effort to contribute his knowledge and professional potential to completing the tasks of the army at a high level,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan has noted that he intends to install team work as the foundation for his time in the position of Chief of General Staff, which will bear more desirable results.
During the introduction, the parties have discussed the preventive measures against COVID-19, which are carried out in the armed forces.
