Yerevan/Mediamax/. On October 9 Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan followed the final stage of the joint Armenian-Russian battalion tactical exercises, the shooting stage.
According to the Armenian Defense Ministry, the exercises were held at the Baghramyan Training Ground.
The goal of the exercises, which started on October 1, was to coordinate the actions of different types of troops, test the personnel’s combat readiness while conducting joint combat missions.
The large-scale exercises included defense and counter-attack activities with the use of multiple ground and air combat equipment.
A number of servicemen received valuable prizes for the best results.
