Yerevan/Mediamax/. In accordance with the 2019 training program, Armenian army will kick off the large-scale military exercise “Deployment of the armed forces and resistance to the adversary’s aggression” on September 24, which will include national and local self-governing bodies as well.
Defense Ministry of Armenia has said that the exercise has several objectives: test the plans of deployment and military action, secure practice for personnel and military equipment as well as practical experience in fulfillment of training duties for national and local self-governing bodies and the command staff of the army, study and determine the capacities of the units, equipment, organization bodies and resources involved in the exercise, and finally, coordinate the work of the headquarters.
During the exercise, various units will be involved in target practice.
