Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said today that "with current international relations, our involvement, kinds and qualities of our allies, we are now much safer than 5 years ago”.
The Armenian President visited Foreign Ministry today and held a meeting with the senior staff of the Ministry.
Answering a question concerning Armenia’s foreign policy and security, Serzh Sargsyan particularly said:
“Everything should be assessed by results. I think with current international relations, our involvement, kinds and qualities of our allies, we are now much safer than 5 years ago. Never has our army been so well-armed and combat-ready. As far as I remember, there has never that such unanimity on Karabakh issue as now. We have a quality, definite trait: we don’t ever try to deceive or mislead anyone. We clearly speak about our interests and we are ready to do certain things to this end, while we’re not ready to do other things”.
