Yerevan /Mediamax/. EU Chief Negotiator Gunnar Wiegand said in Yerevan today that the EU is committed to continue development of relations with Armenia after the Eastern Partnership Summit due in Vilnius.
Gunnar Wiegand said this today during the session of Armenia-EU Cooperation Committee started in Yerevan today, Mediamax reports.
“Vilnius Summit is a very important event which should summarize the work realized before. We thank Armenia for its active participation within Eastern Partnership and the work done”, said the EU diplomat.
Gunnar Wiegand noted that further prospects of development of Armenia-EU relations need to be discussed given the “new situation” in Armenia.
