Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said today that the works on technical and material equipment of the Armenian Armed Forces allow us to deter the neighboring countries' military claims.
"The works on technical and material equipment of the Armenian Armed Forces allow us to carry out smart defense - solve major problems with minimum efforts and prevent the country from military claims of our neighbors", said the Minister during his meeting with the professors and students of the Yerevan Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi.
Seyran Ohanyan said that 2007-2013 were years of reforms for the Armed Forces and over this time, they managed to ensure quality progress.
The Minister said that in 2013, the phase of Strategic Defense Review is starting which will ensure risk assessment of security environment around the Republic over 2014-2015 and 2016-2020 Development Plan of the Armenian Armed Forces.
