Yerevan /Mediamax/. The Yerevan Mayor’s Office works on the project for turning the summer hall of "Moscow” cinema into a youth center.

Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetian said this at the meeting with students May 17, Mediamax reports. He noted that similar project has been worked out also for the territory adjacent to Sasuntsi David monument.

Karen Karapetian also recalled that a church was planned to be built instead of Moscow cinema earlier. After a wide public protest the project was actually frozen.
