UWC Armenia and UWC Dilijan to hold Open Doors Day in Yerevan

Yerevan /Mediamax/. At 11:00 on January 25, Armenian National Committee of United World Colleges (UWC) and UWC Dilijan college will organize The Open Doors Day for those who want to study in UWC system.

The Open Doors Day will be held in the Akian art hall of Paramaz Avetisyan building of American University of Armenia.

 

During the event, all the interested persons will be able to meet with UWC Armenia representatives, Director of UWC Dilijan John Puddefoot and Chairman of Board of Founders of the school Veronika Zonabend.

 

John Puddefoot and Veronika Zonabend as well as other representatives of UWC Armenia staff will answer questions related to UWC colleges including UWC Dilijan and will present the admissions process.

 

UWC Dilijan college will open the doors to its first 90 pupils, 10 of them being from Armenia, in September 2013. 90% of the pupils will be granted scholarships.

 

11 more Armenian children will be able to study at the colleges of other countries involved in UWC system - Italy, Wales, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Norway, Germany, U.S., Singapore and India.

 

The online applications for studying in UWC system and UWC Dilijan International School are available here - www.am.uwc.org. The deadline of applications for Armenian citizens is February 17, 2014.
