Yerevan /Mediamax/. Health Minister of Armenia Anahit Avanesyan has told Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin that Armenian experts are actively negotiating the purchase of Russian vaccine against COVID-19, Sputnik V.

“In the framework of COVAX FACILITY initiative, the Ministry of Health has signed a cooperation agreement, so we are ready to buy an additional batch of Sputnik V vaccines,” she said.

Anahit Avanesyan has underlined the importance of the support Russia regularly provides to Armenia in the form of vaccines and laboratory and diagnostic equipment, including diagnostics & treatment mobile clinics.
