Yerevan /Mediamax/. The Armenian government has confirmed that the state of emergency will not be extended and other restrictions will be introduced after it ends.
Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan has stated that depending on the spread of COVID-19, the government, Mayor of Yerevan and marz governors will have the authority to decide whether to impose quarantine in the given community.
“We will no longer locate people based on their electronic communication or ban economic activity. Some restrictions might remain,” added Badasyan.
