Yerevan /Mediamax/. Deputy Prime Minister, Commandant of Armenia Tigran Avinyan has stated today that there will be certain changes in the existing epidemiological rules.
“It is no longer mandatory to wear masks in your car but it is mandatory to wear masks in public transport and taxis. We will reconsider the rule on wearing masks in certain open-air spaces such as woods, out in the nature in general.
The same concerns the rule on the number of patrons allowed at one table in catering establishments,” Avinyan said at the extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly.
He has added that libraries and museums will open.
“In the next few days we will release detailed guidelines for the epidemiological rules. As for theater and concert performances and other cultural events, they will be allowed only in open-air spaces,” said Avinyan.
According to him, the decision on reopening of higher education institutions and other educational organizations will be made next week.
