Yerevan /Mediamax/. European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation Carlos Moedas introduced EU Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation program to Armenian young scientists.
Carlos Moedas emphasized that Europe is guided by the principle of open borders in the spheres of science and innovations.
“Science and innovation have changed the world during the last centenary. Science does no longer belong to scientists only; science and innovations are now closer to common people. Horizon 20 program is aimed at integrating Europe’s best scientific practices and innovative ideas,” EU Commissioner said.
He expressed confidence that Armenian young scientists can invest their own solutions to make Europe more open.
“You need to get experience in submitting tenders for participation in Horizon 20 program. It is also necessary to work in the direction of trainings for professionals,” Carlos Moedas said.
Carlos Moedas attended Matenadaran and Tumo Center in Yerevan.
