Yerevan /Mediamax/. His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, expressed his support to the Armenian army.
Learning about the casualties of the Armenian army on the Artsakh contact line and Armenia-Azerbaijan border, Aram I addressed a speech during his official visit to Switzerland:
“We were sorrowful to have learned about our soldiers’ decease. We expressed our deep condolences to their families. Our soldiers are heroes and martyrs as they shed blood for the sake of their motherland, our independence and rights. We express our full support to our courageous army. Our army is the pledge for our homeland’s safety and independence. We are convinced that our brave soldiers with their combat readiness will demolish all the efforts of the enemy which attempts to step on the Karabakh land”, the statement of Aram I reads this.
As a result of the recent ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan, the Defense Army has suffered 4 casualties and 16 wounded.
