Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said that it is unacceptable to solve political issues by violence or use of arms.

According to Armenian presidential press service, Serzh Sargsyan made this statement at the meeting with “Baze-2016” youth camp participants on August 27.

“Different groups of the society, including the youth, have different views on any subject, which is completely normal. The unacceptable is that some people try to solve issues during a disagreement by violence or use of arms in the worst case,” Armenian President said.

He is certain that violence makes no one stronger, but only makes people weaker.

“So to say, revolutionary attitude is often characteristic for young people, as that kind of romantic view comes from inexperience. This should always be taken into account. Political struggle is normal, and this is not the first time for our young people to begin a political fight for defense of the public’s rights, taking to the streets as well. That is normal. The abnormal is that some people or organizations try to poison people’s conscience and minds to achieve their own goals,” President noted.
