Yerevan /Mediamax/. Representative of Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan stated that military operations continued in all directions throughout the day, including the central one.
“Azerbaijani armed forces undertook several attempts in the north which were repelled, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. The enemy used aviation, mainly tactical aircrafts, which failed to achieve any success,” said Artsrun Hovhannisyan.
Several sabotage groups tried to break through the positions of the Defense Army in the central direction, however they fled after precise artillery fire.
“Battles continued in the southern direction, closer to Araks riverbed. Our Armed Forces stopped all attempts of the enemy to advance in some sections, causing significant losses,” said Artsrun Hovhannisyan.
