Yerevan /Mediamax/. Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, described as "not corresponding to reality” all the claims that Russia and Turkey support different sides of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.

“Yes, Turkey unequivocally supports Azerbaijan. We know that. But this does not mean that we are on the other side, supporting Armenia against Azerbaijan. This is not true. We support a fair settlement and cessation of hostilities,” TASS quoted Nebenzya as saying.

The Russian official also said that “Moscow does not yet see readiness for dialogue on the part of Armenia and Azerbaijan” and expressed hope that the statement of the presidents of the Russia, United States and France will “change this situation.”
