Yerevan/Mediamax/. 16 violations of ceasefire were registered at the North-East of Armenia-Azerbaijan state border on the night of April 20.
According to Armenian Defense Ministry press service, Azerbaijan disorderly fired at Armenian positions from various calibre rifles and sniper weapons.
“Vanguard subdivisions of Armenian Armed Forces showed restrain and took counter actions only when absolutely necessary, confidently contolling the situation at border,” states the press release.
NKR Defense Army noted that Azerbajan violated the verbal ceasefire agreement over 70 times on Hadrut, Akna and Martakert directions.
