Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Ambassador Arman Kirakosyan made a statement regarding Azerbaijan’s violations of international humanitarian law at the session of OSCE Permanent Council.
According to Armenian MFA press service, Ambassador noted that Azerbaijani Armed Forces purposefully targeted civilian objects and population, including children and elders, during the latest large-scale attack Azerbaijan conducted against Nagorno-Karabakh.
Armenian Ambassador pointed out that servicemen Hayk Toroyan, Hrant Gharibyan and Kyaram Aloyan were decapitated by Azerbaijani soldiers in a manner characteristic for Daesh/ISIS, and returned bodies of Armenian soldiers were tortured.
Arman Kirakosyan stressed that such barbaric actions go against basic norms of the civilized world and international conventions.
Ambassador informed that NKR leadership opened a criminal case to investigate all circumstances of decapitations and torture.
Arman Kirakosyan attached importance to condemning the committed crimes and bringing persons responsible to account.
